First Day of Kindergarten…..Take Two!!

Yesterday was Jordan’s first day of kindergarten for the second time! How lucky is he?

He’s now attending ½ day kinder at a different school and he goes to daycare after, smaller campuses, much smaller classes and he finally gets to ride a bus just like he always wanted. The daycare picks him up from school.

Last night was curriculum night and let me tell you his teacher is AMAZING!

Even though yesterday was his first day, she took a picture of him on his “first” day of Kindergarten, laminated it and turned it into a magnet with the headline “ Kindergarten 2008-2009” and gave it to me at curriculum night She also had pictures of him with the other kids working at different centers included in her power point presentation! Her power point presentation was one of the best I’ve ever seen and almost every meeting I go to, has a power point presentation!!!!
Not to mention his desk and cubby were decorated like everyone else’s, he already had work posted on the wall and he checked out a library book from the school library! Now get this, yesterday was Early Release day so he was only at school for two hours!!!!!

I was worried that he wouldn’t pick up a lot in such a short time but based on yesterday I was totally wrong! I want to be like Ms. Lynne when I grow up!
